Billie Eilish took to Instagram to clarify what really happened.
Billie Eilish has had enough of the paparazzi and she's now criticising them for a recent incident in which they swore at her.
Last week (Nov 21), Billie appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to discuss her record-breaking six nominations at the 2020 Grammys. Billie was her usual loveable self, however, shortly afterwards, a video surfaced of people booing her outside the studio. In the video, Billie can be seen walking past a group of people and them booing and swearing at her in response. People began accusing Billie of ignoring her fans on social media but it turns out that it was actually the paparazzi.

Never one to let lies slide, Billie then took to Instagram to explain what really happened and call out the paps.
In a series of Instagram stories (Nov 22), Billie said: "Yesterday, I was at Kimmel, which was amazing, but when I left, I had to go to a rehearsal." She then explained that she came across a group of fans in an alley on the way to her car and made sure to greet them: "I went to the left side. I hugged them all. I did pictures. I talked to them. I didn't sign anything 'cause I don't do that. I used to, but I realised all anyone did was sell everything that I signed, so I stopped doing that."
She added: "I went to the other side and, as I got closer, I kind of realised that it was pretty much all paparazzi and eBayers, which is what we call people that just take my signature and sell it and couldn't give less of a fuck about me. I didn't wanna be disrespectful at all, so I went up to them and tried to get hugs and touch all their hands. Nobody put their hands out or tried to hug me back."

Billie then continued: "I started to walk away because I realised that none of these people cared about anything that had to do with me as a person. As I started to walk back to the car, they all started to boo and then they started calling me a little bitch and saying I'm gonna lose my Grammy nominations. Then I started to hear them be like Lorde would have stopped."
She explained: "I did stop. I walked like a thousand feet to come and say 'hi' and give y'all some hugs and y'all are booing me and calling me a little bitch?! The fact that people can switch up like that, damn?! Like wait outside for you, and then they don't get what they want and they boo you and fucking curse at you. I'm like bro I'm 17, you're old. This shit is!"
Billie ended the Instagram live by saying: "To the grown men that booed me and called me a little bitch, I hope the best for you. I hope you can find someone else that you can use to make money off of and belittle so yeah all the best. Love you, paparazzi."
