Billie Eilish took to Instagram on Tuesday (5 November) to let fans know that her new song will be arriving in mere days. Billie didn't give an exact drop date or any other details about the upcoming release.
"Vanity Fair piece can't come out for a couple of weeks :( BUUUUUUUT YOU GET A NEW SONG NEXT WEEK SOOOOOOOOOOOOO compromise," the singer announced.
Billie undoubtedly has another hit on her hands. The 17-year-old has been breaking records all year, including one that made her the first person born after 2000 to have a Billboard number 1 album, Over the summer, Billie also ended Lil Nas X's incredible 'Old Town Road' number 1 streak with her massive hit, 'bad guy'.
At the moment, it's unclear if Billie's new songs are part of a larger body of work or two standalone singles.
Back in October, Billie's brother and collaborator Finneas O'Connell told Zane Lowe on Beats 1 that the two were "deep into the creative process on new material".
Between releasing her debut album this year, playing Coachella first the first time, touring non-stop, performing on SNL for the first time, and inspiring 2019's most popular Halloween look, we're surprised that Billie has any left over time to work on new music. But we're definitely grateful.
Everybody say "thank you, Billie".
