The 'Love On Top' singer reveals her relief that her performance went smoothly before power cut.
Beyonce has spoken about the blackout which occurred during the NFL Super Bowl on Sunday night (3rd February) admitting she was overjoyed she escaped the power cut during her halftime show performance.
The Mercedes-Benz Superdome went into darkness for 35 minutes following the singer's set on stage, but officials insist she was not to blame.
"There's no indication at all that this was caused by the halftime show," said NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. "Absolutely not.
"I know that's been out there that this halftime show had something to do with it. That is not the case."
The 'Crazy In Love' singer, speaking to OMG Insider, confessed: "It's a live television show, it's the biggest show in America.
"There's so many things that could happen and God was on my side, so I'm very, very happy that it went well and the power went out after."
Beyonce's halftime show was supported by a separate generator, which was running completely fine according to the venue.
"The halftime show was running on 100 percent generated power. It was not on our power grid at all," revealed Doug Thornton, a vice president of SMG, the company that manages the Superdome.
He added: "As a matter of fact, during the half time show, we were metering the amperage as we normally do and we had a drop in the amperage used because our house lights went down and we went to a dark house and there was no correlation that we can make with the halftime show because it was on 100 percent generated power."
There was also reports that a fire alarm was deemed the cause of the blackout, - something which Thornton said was not to blame.
"It was a piece of equipment that did its job," he said. "These are things that we drill for. It's an unfortunate circumstance during what had been such a great week to that point."
Beyonce wowed during her performance, singing some of her biggest solo hits and was joined by her Destiny's Child bandmates during the set.
Meanwhile, she has also announced details of her 'Mrs. Carter Show' world tour 2013, which will hit the UK in April.
