Beyonce And Pitbull Join Voice Cast Of Fox Animation Epic?

The 'Countdown' singer will voice a character in the film called Queen Tara, according to reports.

Beyonce and Pitbull have reportedly been cast in a brand new animated film from the makes of Ice Age and Rio.

Deadline reports that the 'Love On Top' singer has been cast in the new FOX and Blue Sky Studios animation Epic, which is set in a forest and follows a battle between the forces of good and evil.

Beyonce will voice a character called Queen Tara while 'International Love' rapper Pitbull has been cast as Bufo.

Epic also boasts a voice cast including Colin Farrell, Amanda Syfried and The Hunger Games star Josh Hutcherson.

The film marks Beyonce first movie role since giving birth to daughter Blue Ivy earlier this year, with her last role being in the 2009 thriller Obsessed.

The 'End Of Time' singer made her live return to the stage last weekend with three consecutive concerts at the Revel Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

'Give Me Everything' rapper Pitbull was announced last month as part of the line-up for this year's Capital FM Summertime Ball, which takes place on 9th June at Wembley Stadium.

Epic is currently scheduled to be released in cinemas on 24th May, 2013.
