The 'Down For Whatever' star speaks about the arrival of Blue Ivy Carter.
Kelly Rowland has said her Destiny's Child band mate Beyonce was "born to be a mother".
The 'Down For Whatever' star had remained tight-lipped about the arrival of Blue Ivy Carter earlier this month.
But speaking at the BET Awards in Washington at the weekend, she told People that she had no doubts about Bey's potential as a mother.
"She was born to be a mother. She's wonderful," Kelly said.
Meanwhile, in a separate interview, Beyonce's other Destiny's Child band mate Michelle Williams has described Blue as "absolutely gorgeous".
Beyonce has spoken for the first time about her and Jay-Z's first baby together, saying the pair are looking forward to their roles as parents.
Blue Ivy Carter became the youngest person to place on the Billboard char t last week when her father Jay-Z featured her cries on his new tribute song 'Glory'.
