Beyonce And Jay-Z Miss MTV VMAs 2013 But Show Up For After Party With Rihanna And Rita Ora

The pop star couple were spotted partying in the early hours with friends including Justin Timberlake.

Beyonce and Jay-Z were pictured enjoying an after party for the MTV Video Music Awards 2013 this week, despite not attending the awards ceremony itself.

The 'Love On Top' singer and her 'Holy Grail' rapper husband were both nominated for awards at this year's music industry event, but only turned up to help their pop peers celebrate after the show in New York City.

Beyonce was pictured heading to PH-D club in Manhattan shortly after the event, in the early hours of Monday morning (26th August), wearing a black dress and high heels with her newly cropped hair worn in blonde loose curls.

The 'Party' singer's husband Jay-Z kept his look simple with a rich blue shirt and gold chain, while escorting Beyonce into the party to celebrate with close friends like Rihanna, Rita Ora and Justin Timberlake.

This year's MTV VMAs was focused around Justin being presented with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, and also saw him perform a medley of his biggest hits that featured a brief reunion with his old band 'N Sync.

Beyonce is currently working on her new fifth studio album which is expected out before the end of the year.
