The couple are each nominated in five categories for this year's awards.
Beyoncé and Jay Z lead the nominations for this year's BET Awards.
The power couple have each been nominated in five categories, including Best Male, Best Female, Best Collaboration and Video of the Year.
"This year’s nominees represent the best of the culture," Stephen Hill, BET’s President of Music Programming and Specials, said.
"It’s great to see our talented new artist’s right alongside our more beloved ones with long careers. We appreciate our BET Awards nomination committee, over 300 strong, for their efforts and congratulate all the nominees."
Other big nominees include Drake, who is also nominated in five categories, while Pharrell Williams picks up four nods including Video of the Year and Best Collaboration for 'Blurred Lines'.
This year's BET AWards will air internationally on Tuesday, 1st July at 9pm on BET.
