The 'XO' singer says she feels more comfortable showing off her sexy side now she's 30.
Beyonce has opened up about revealing more of herself to fans through the music and videos from her latest self-titled album, and says she feels she can be more honest with them now she is older.
The 'Love On Top' singer, who launched her album 'Beyonce' back in December last year, says her fans have grown up with her and she now feels more comfortable showing off her sexy side through her videos.
"Now I'm in my thirties and those children that grew up listening to me have grown up," Beyonce explains in her latest making-of promo. "I always felt like it was my responsibility to be aware of kids and their parents.
"I felt like it stifled me and I always felt in a sense I could not express everything," the 'Drunk In Love' singer reveals. "I've done so many things in my life and my career that, at this point, I feel I've earned the right to be me and express any and every side of myself."
The 'XO' singer was speaking in reference to her raunchy music video for album track 'Rocket', which sees her performing on a bed while dressed in sexy lingerie.
"I don't think I would have done it back then, I wouldn't have been comfortable," she added. "I would have been too afraid of what people thought but I dropped that fourth wall and I did it."
Beyonce is set to bring her 'The Mrs. Carter Show' world tour back to the UK for a second leg in February.
