The 'Best Thing I Never Had' singer says she assumed people would figure out she was pregnant during her live Roseland shows in August.
Beyonce has revealed she worried people would discover her pregnancy before it was officially announced.
The ‘Love On Top’ singer confirmed she and husband Jay-Z were expecting their first child at the MTV Video Music Awards in August, but admits she thought people would guess during her four Roseland concerts in New York earlier that month.
“The whole time I definitely was thinking, ‘Everybody knows, everyone can see’,” Beyonce told the Associated Press, during a screening for her new DVD Live At Roseland: Elements of Four.
Beyonce admitted her heavy work schedule had been difficult to cope with after discovering she was pregnant.
“When you’re pregnant, it’s a little bit harder to breathe, so it was hard doing all the choreography and singing at the same time,” she said. “But I just got my strength from all the love from the fans.”
The ‘1+1’ singer went on to thank everyone who had attended the Roseland concerts, and said she was always able to pick out her biggest fans from the audience.
“I can see all of my super fans in the audience when I’m performing because they’re doing the choreography harder than me! She explained. “It’s a really special bond and it just makes me so proud.”
Live At Roseland: Elements of Four will be released in the US on 29th November and in the UK on 5th December.
