Lady Gaga, Beyonce And Katy Perry "Boring" Says Simon Cowell

The X Factor's Simon Cowell lays into Lady Gaga, Beyonce and Katy Perry's songs.

When talking about what he's hoping to find on The X Factor USA, Simon Cowell dubbed the music of some of pop's finest "boring".

'Born This Way' star Lady Gaga was first on his list, ahead of newly pregnant Beyonce and 'California Dreams' tour star Katy Perry.

"If you only ever heard Lady GaGa, she's the most boring singer in the world," Simon told the Daily Mirror.

"You've got to see her – you need TV. Same with Beyoncé. Or Katy Perry.

"We're all about image. You have to have that X Factor."

Since ditching Cheryl Cole from The X Factor judging panel, Simon Cowell is relying on Paula Abdul, L.A. Reid and Nicole Scherzinger to help him find a star.
