Beyonce's Baby Blue Ivy Is Growing "So Fast", Singer's Father Reveals - Audio

The 'Countdown' star's father admits he has started singing to the baby girl.

Beyonce's father Matthew Knowles has revealed that the singer's baby Blue Ivy Carter is growing quickly.

The 'Love On Top' star gave birth to her first child with husband Jay-Z in January, and has been pictured publicly with the baby increasingly in recent weeks.

Speaking to Capital FM, Matthew Knowles revealed how he manages to make Blue laugh.

"Two days ago I was in New York and Beyonce and Blue Ivy came over, and I saw her three weeks ago and she's almost double the size," he said.

"These kids grow so fast. I was singing a song that I used to sing to Beyonce and [her sister] Solange, and I sang that song to Blue Ivy and it almost brought tears to my eyes because I remember singing it to them when they were babies."

He added: "As soon as I finished she went (laughs) and there wasn't a dry eye in the house."

Beyonce and Blue were spotted enjoying a stroll in a New York park last week.

Meanwhile, in a separate interview, Matthew Knowles has claimed it is unlikely his daughter will ever judge a talent show like The X Factor.
