Beyonce sets '4' album release date
Beyonce has revealed the UK release date of her new album '4'.
The singer will release the follow up to 2008's 'I Am...Sasha Fierce' on June 27, a day after her headline slot at Glastonbury.
The album was recorded between spring 2010 and 2011.
'She engaged in what she describes as simple things, including listening to every kind of music she truly enjoys,' a statement on her official website said.
'Her mixed musical gumbo will be displayed on the upcoming album.'
The singer apparently shocked label bosses when she intially handed over 72 tracks worth of new material.
