Ariana debuted the new Eevee tattoo on Instagram...
Ariana Grande is famous for many things. Over the course of her 10 year career the 25-year-old popstar has blessed us with everything from iconic acting performances (Victorious, Scream Queens) to flawless hit singles ('Dangerous Woman', 'thank u, next'. She is one of the most exciting artists of her generation. However, Ari is also well-known for her extensive tattoo collection.
QUIZ: Which 'thank u, next' movie are you?
As it stands, Ariana has racked up an impressive 31 known tattoos. Ariana got her first tattoo at the age of 18 (the outline of a heart on the second toe of her right foot) and has been building up her collection ever since. Some are small, others are huge but they all mean something special to her. And now Ariana has just got another tattoo in honour of her favourite Pokémon.
Check out Ariana's new tattoo below.
Ariana took to Instagram stories yesterday to reveal that her latest tattoo is an adorable, huge illustration of Eevee on her left arm. Fans of Pokémon will already know that Eevee is a fox-like normal type Pokémon, famous for being able to evolve into eight different forms. People often underestimate Eevee for its cute appearance but it's actually very powerful, just like Ari.
She tagged her tattoo artist Kane Navasard writing: "I've wanted this for so long, thank you sm".
The new Eevee tattoo in all its glory.
Eevee is the second major tattoo which Ariana has got on one of her arms. Last year, she shook fans with a tattoo of Chihiro from Spirited Away on her right arm. Ariana explained that she resonates with Chihiro because she "matures from an easily-scared girl with a child-like personality to a hard-working, responsible and brave young girl". Our hearts.
Something tells us that Ariana sees herself in Eevee too. Regardless, she loves Pokémon.
