Today (April 20) Ariana Grande finally unveiled her new single 'No Tears Left To Cry' along with an incredible music video, directed by acclaimed music video director Dave Meyers.

The single is the first new music to be lifted from her as-yet-untitled fourth studio album, currently known by fans as #AG4
It is also the first new music from Ariana since the terrorist attack at her concert in Manchester last year in which 22 people, many of these young fans, died. The song and the video make some subtle allusions to the incident. As noted by the BBC, at the end of the music video, a worker bee - the symbol of Manchester - flies towards the camera, in homage to the city. The lyrics describe Ariana's emotional state after the attack, "Right now I'm in a state of mind I want to be in, like, all the time" but they strike a more defiant tone by the end at the song: "I'm pickin' it up / Lovin', I'm livin', so we turnin' up / Yeah, we turnin' it up".
