Ariana Grande and Meghan Trainor but some pop star firepower to the CMA Awards 2014 last night, with two STAND-OUT performances from the night.

'Problem' superstar Ariana may be a pure-pop act at heart, but she surprised and thrilled EVERYONE when she jumped up halfway through Little Big Town's performance at the country music awards show to throw out a few choruses of Jessie J's 'Bang Bang'.

We LOVE Ariana on this pop song… but just wait until you hear her hitting those high notes in the video above. The phase "mind-blowing" was made for moments like this!

And recent Vodafone Big Top 40 number one Meghan Trainor didn't miss out on the attention either when she teamed up with one of last night's big award winners Miranda Lambert for a duet.

The pair were clearly LOVING life when they belted out a country music style performance of Meghan's hit 'All About That Bass'.
