Ariana Grande Just Got A HUGE New Tattoo And Fans Are Freaking Out

The meaning behind the tattoo is a heartfelt tribute to her recent personal journey.

EVERYONE SHUT UP FOR A SEC, OK? Ariana Grande just got another new tattoo and we need to talk about it because it's big, it's cute and the meaning behind it almost made me cry.

As we all know, our Lord and Saviour Ariana has many tattoos. From the 'H2GKMO' ink on her wrist and the tribute to her fiancé Pete Davison's late father, right down to all the references to her songs, albums and tours, she's reportedly got over 24 tats in total - and they're all pretty small and discreet. But the 'Sweetener' singer just got a brand new tat - and everyone is frrrrreaking out about it.

Sharing the snaps to her Instagram story, Ariana shared a picture of her new tattoo, a drawing of Chihiro from Studio Ghibli's iconic film Spirited Away on her right forearm. She also shared the meaning behind why she chose that particular character and it's honestly perfect.

The caption reads: "Chihiro's growth into a capable individual is a core factor to the movement of Spirited Away's plot. During her adventure in the Spirit World, she matures from an easily-scared girl with a child-like personality to match her age to a hard-working, responsible, and brave young girl who has learned to put her fears aside for those she cares for."

"To protect her friends and rescue her parents from a spell that has turned them into livestock, Chihiro sheds her former personality and adapts to her environment to become a courageous, quick-witted and reliable girl."

While the meaning behind the tattoo echoes the personal journey Ariana has just been through in the past 18 months, fans are still freaking out over the size of the tattoo, particularly due to the fact that the rest of her tattoos are so small and discreet.
