Ariana Grande, Liz Gillies and Graham Phillips all starred in '13' the musical together on Broadway...
That Ariana Grande reign just won't let up. Over the course of the past week alone, the 25-year-old has broken multiple huge records which most artists could only dream of. thank u, next is not only a Number 1 album in the US, UK and all around the world but it's also the most streamed pop album (and album by a female artist) ever in a week. The LP amassed 307 million streams in the US in its first 7 days.
Ariana Grande has rewritten the rules of pop with thank u, next
However, before Ariana became Ariana the popstar we know today, she was an actress. Most fans of hers will know that she was one of the stars of Nickelodeon's Victorious and its spin-off Sam & Cat but what they may not know is that she acted in musicals before. Ariana's first professional gig was alongside Liz Gillies (Victorious) and Graham Phillips (Riverdale) in 13 on Broadway and they're still friends.
In fact, they're so close that they got together this week to sing show tunes.
Yes. Ariana may have just released a life-changing record but she is still a musical theatre girl at heart. Our fave teased that she was reuniting with her 13 co-stars on social media and then yesterday posted videos of her singing 'As Long as You're Mine' from Wicked with Graham and 'Take Me Or Leave Me' from Rent with Liz. Both renditions are stunning and we really couldn't be more obsessed.
They also all sang 'If That's What It Is' from 13 together for the first time in 11 years and no, I'm not crying, you are. Oh and Matt Bennett (Victorious) and Frankie Grande were both also there, joining in on all of the amazing musical action, because of course they were. Matt, like Liz, is still very close with Ariana. In fact, they both appeared in her hit thank u, next video.

Did somebody say VOCALS?! Seriously is there anything that Ariana can't do? Also Liz and Graham? They both snapped. Liz may be making waves now as Fallon on Dynasty and Graham may now be known for playing Nick St. Clair on Riverdale but that doesn't stop them from and Ariana from staying in touch with their roots. They are all musical theatre legends.
Taking to Twitter after the impromptu session, Ari tweeted: "man, i’m so lucky and grateful to be able to sing pop music and do all of this for a living but last night made me so, unimaginably happy. i really..... am musical theater thru and thru. it’s just home n always will be. u feel me." She also hinted that she and Liz may make music (or a musical) together.
