Charlie's Angels is back and it's got a new soundtrack with Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, Lana Del Rey, Normani and Nicki Minaj on it.
Ever since it was first announced that Charlie's Angels was getting a reboot, we've been desperate to see it. The original 70s series is iconic and the 2000 and 2003 film adaptations starring Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu and Drew Barrymore are two of the greatest movies of all time. Now, Elizabeth Banks is directing a new Charlie's Angels with Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska in the lead roles. Even better, Ariana Grande is putting together the film's soundtrack.
Who is on Ariana Grande's Charlie's Angels soundtrack?
On June 26, Ariana took to Instagram to reveal that she is producing the new Charlie's Angels soundtrack with her longterm collaborators Savan Kotecha, Ilya and Max Martin ('Into You', 'no tears left to cry', 'break up with your girlfriend (i'm bored)'). She wrote: "executive producing this soundtrack has been the coolest fucking thing in the world. beyond grateful for this opportunity and can’t wait for everyone to hear the music and see this phenomenal film. november."
On September 12, Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus and Lana Del Rey released 'Don't Call Me Angel' as the lead single from the soundtrack, alongside an epic Charlie's Angels inspired video with an Elizabeth Banks cameo. Ariana then announced the full soundtrack at midnight on October 11 and it also features Normani, Nicki Minaj, Chaka Khan, Donna Summer, Victoria Monét as well as some other huge names.
