Bryce Hall has called out Ariana Grande for the comments she made about the behaviour of TikTok stars during the coronavirus pandemic.

In case you didn't know, the 'Positions' singer recently blasted people for partying at Los Angeles' infamous Saddle Ranch (a fave haunt of TikTok stars…) during the pandemic. Speaking during an appearance on the Zach Sang Show, she said: "Couldn't we have stayed at home just a few more weeks, like all the other countries that are fine and are better than we are?

"Did we all need to go to fucking Saddle Ranch that badly that we couldn't have waited for the deathly pandemic to pass? Did we all need to put on our cowgirl boots and ride a mechanical bull that bad? We all needed that Instagram post that badly?"

TikTok star Dixie D'Amelio responded to Ariana's statement, saying: "I mean, she's right. She's right yeah." Alas, Bryce didn't quite have the same reaction.

As you know, Bryce has earned himself quite the problematic reputation, throwing packed parties throughout the pandemic. In August, Bryce and fellow Sway House member Blake Gray were charged with two misdemeanours after throwing a huge party in the Hollywood Hills. Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti even had to shut off their power and water to stop their partying, which was breaching California's stay-at-home order at the time.

Bryce claimed that Ariana only slammed TikTokers for a "marketing move" and suggested she may have even been partying during the pandemic too. In an interview with Hollywood Raw, he said: "Even if she was going out, who would know? She was probably going out to those secret things… She's not wrong but like unnecessary. Yeah. It's unnecessary to call out a specific group, especially when there's other people doing it.

"She knew that TikTokers have, like, a high audience. She knew a lot of people would agree, because there's a lot of people that hate TikTokers especially. I mean, it was obviously like a marketing move and good for her. But like, she's not wrong."

However, Bryce did acknowledge that there is an element of truth to what Ariana said. He continued: "What's a TikToker going to say? 'Fuck you, Ariana?' I'm not going to say that. Everyone is like, 'You're right.'"
