Ariana Grande fans are boycotting '7 rings' for the absolute cutest reason ever and it involves 'break up with your girlfriend, i'm bored.'
Ariana Grande fans, The Arianators™, are probably one of the most loyal and enthusiastic pop fan bases ever. Ariana regularly interacts with her dedicated fans and, in return, they ride for the singer. Hard. So, you might be surprised to hear that some Arianators are boycotting her January single '7 rings' for a pretty hilarious reason.
No, it has nothing to do with disliking the song. '7 rings' rocketed to the top of the Billboard charts, debuting at number one in its first week. '7 rings' remains at number one for the moment but some Arianators hope to "boycott" the trap inspired song to make way for her latest hit single 'break up with your girlfriend, i'm bored' to debut at number 1.

Why are Ariana Grande fans boycotting '7 rings'?
Fans are hoping to give 'break up with your girlfriend, i'm bored' the number one spot in its first official week and the tactical listening is getting serious with the #BOYCOTT7RINGS tag on Twitter.
Of course, Ariana caught wind of the adorable plan and responded to her fans trying to help her make history.
"y’all are so insane and funny and i love u," Ariana Grande wrote back on Twitter in response to the popular #BOYCOTT7RINGS tag. "nothings funnier than ‘boycott seven rings’..... i can’t lmao. whatever’s meant to be will be, babies 🌫 i ain’t goin nowhere."
The singer was clearly amused by her fans' efforts. It's very likely that Ariana will continue to dominate the charts with her thank u, next singles. This time last year Ariana Grande had never had a solo number one single. Now, she's on the verge of nabbing her THIRD number one in a matter of months thanks to her dedicated fans.
If "break up with your girlfriend, i'm bored" debuts at number one, the singer will make history as the first US artist to have three singles in a row enter the charts at number one.
