The 'Rolling In The Deep' singer has apparently taken steps to prevent her name being used on a perfume.
Adele has trademarked her name to prevent it being used as a brand name, according to reports.
The 'Someone Like You' singer, who recently gave birth to her first child, has apparently protected her identity from being used as the name for a perfume or jewelry.
A source told The Sun: "She doesn't want anyone exploiting her name by using it on products which may trick punters into thinking she's involved with it."
Adele is has been out of the spotlight since she welcomed her first baby to the world earlier this year.
At present, it is unclear when the star plans to release the follow-up to her 2011 album '21', which has sold millions of copies around the world.
But the star did release 'Skyfall' – the title track of James Bond's most recent outing in October.
In February, the 'Rolling In The Deep' singer cleaned up at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, winning six awards.
