Remember Adele?

The song was released nearly two years ago, and reached a chart high of 26.

However a quick glance at the Big Top 40 right now shows Adele's 'Make You Feel My Love' sitting comfortably among the chart Top 5, it's highest ever position.

She's got the X Factor 2010 to thank for it, of course, with contestants such as Annastacia Baker and Gamu Nhengu performing her hit at both the audition stage, and at boot camp. Check out Gamu's awesome performance below...

Clearly it's been a hit with the TV audience, as it's been climbing the Big Top 40 over the course of the series so far, and for now is looking to keep it's place in the Top 10.

Adele released her debut album, '19', in 2008, and as well as 'Make You Feel My Love', she had hits with 'Hometown Glory', 'Chasing Pavements' and 'Cold Shoulder'.

'Make You Feel My Love' is actually a cover of a Bob Dylan classic, however it's the 22-year old British singer-songwriter who has made it her own. We don't know how long the song will able to keep it's place in the Big Top 40, but hopefully she will enjoy her reprise while it lasts. Adele reportedly has a new album out in 2011, featuring country music.
