Adele has finally given up smoking in a bid to save her remarkable voice.
The North London diva completely lost her voice in the run-up to releasing her new album '21' this week.
She's revealed that she had laryngitis and couldn't speak for six days last week.
She told the Daily Star, "I've had laryngitis and I couldn't speak for six days last week. I didn't think I'd be able to sing at the album launch.
"I went to see a therapist... for my voice. He told me to lay off the cigarettes. It's not just the fags, I've had to give up milk, tomatoes, sweets, sucking mints."
