The 'Someone Like You' singer is said to be expected to release her third album in mid-2014.
Adele has reportedly already finished four new songs for her third album after going into "lockdown" mode in the recording studio.
The 'Rolling In The Deep' singer is allegedly holed up in a London recording studio working on the follow-up to her worldwide success '21', with claims her record label are looking at a mid-2014 release date.
"Adele is currently in a recording studio in London and it's in lockdown mode for the next few weeks," a source told The Mirror this week. "Four tracks are finished in terms of writing and she's now laying down preliminary vocals with backing music and singers.
"The rest of the record will be done in LA," they revealed. "The feel is very much Adele going back to her roots, with some modern jazz and a couple of classic old songs."

It was recently reported that Adele has turned down publisher offers to publish her memoirs, while other rumours suggest she is planning a fifties themed summer wedding with partner Simon Konecki.
Adele has already had a hugely successful year so far after picking up a Golden Globe award and an Oscar for her James Bond theme 'Skyfall'.
