The actress also wished Adele luck after hearing the news she has become a first-time mother.
Dame Judi Dench has praised Adele's James Bond theme for the new film Skyfall and hailed it as a "great song".
The British actress, who plays Bond's handler M in the popular film franchise, also sent the 'Rolling In The Deep' star a message of congratulations after hearing the rumours she gave birth to a son with boyfriend Simon Konecki last week.
"Isn't that a great song?" Judi told Capital FM at the Royal Albert Hall premiere of Skyfall in London last night (23rd October). "That's a really good song!
"I know, I hear that too," Judi also said, when asked about Adele's baby news. "When was that? The other day? Very good, so he's part of it all too!"
Reports this week suggest Adele has already started writing and recording the follow-up to her second album '21', with new music expected to be released in 2013, although Adele has yet to make any confirmation of work on a new album.
