The 'Thunderball' singer says Bond had a huge impact on his career.
Veteran singer Tom Jones has back Adele to sing the next James Bond theme tune.
The multi-Grammy Award winning singer is one of a host of big names who have been linked to writing the title track to the next Bond film, Skyfall.
Tom, who wrote the title song to the 1965 Bon film Thunderball, said the movie had a huge impact on his career.
"I was 22 when I did the Thunderball song and it changed my career and was a huge honour," he told The Sun.
"Not that she needs it but Adele would be the perfect choice for doing Skyfall."
The next installment of the James Bond franchise is set to be released in November and will once again feature Daniel Craig as Bond.
Meanwhile, Adele was the big winner at last night's (12th February) Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, taking home all six awards she was nominated for.
