The 'Someone Like You' singer was apparently seen heading to the famous studio in London to record the track this month.
Adele has reportedly recorded the theme tune to the new James Bond film Skyfall earlier this month at Abbey Road studios in London.
The 'Rolling In The Deep' star is currently expecting the arrival of her first child with boyfriend Simon Konecki and The Sun reports that she headed to the famous The Beatles studio where the track is being put together.
She has been the bookies favourite to record the track for the past twelve months with stars such as former Bond theme star Chris Cornell and Tom Jones giving their seal of approval on the decision.
She had hinted that she could take the coveted role during an interview with Jonathan Ross last year and is said to already have had preliminary sessions with producer Paul Epoworth.

It is now believed she has stepped into the recording booth with Thomas Newman – who is in charge of putting the song together.
The Sam Mendes directed film starring Daniel Craig will hit cinema screens late next month.
Meanwhile, Adele was forced to recently respond to rumours that she had married in secret - telling her followers on Twitter that the reports were false.
