The 'Rolling In The Deep' star is expected to perform the soundtrack to the new Daniel Craig feature film.
Adele's rumoured James Bond Skyfall theme tune is apparently entitled 'Let The Sky Fall' and has been described as an "ominous, dramatic ballad", according to online reports.
The 'Someone Like You' singer has been linked with performing the track since the end of 2011 when she teased the project during an interview with Jonathan Ross.
Lyrics for the track have also surfaced on Showbiz411, who claim the chorus goes: "Let the sky fall. Let it crumble. We will stand tall. And face it all together."
The opening line follows a piano solo and sees the '21' star singing: "This is the end. Hold your breath and count to ten. Feel the Earth move and then. Hear my heart burst again."
Last week, it was rumoured that music retailers HMV had played the track in their Guildford store after fans took to Twitter to claim they had heard the song.
Although there has been no official statement from the star confirming her involvement with the song, bookmakers William Hill have already paid out on bets for Adele to have penned the track.
Meanwhile, the singer is currently preparing for the birth of her first child with Simon Konecki and was recently spotted at Mumford & Sons' iTunes Festival gig this week.
