The 'Someone Like You' star's dad apparently wants to be a "proper granddad" to her new arrival.
Adele's estranged father has spoken out about his relationship with the 'Rolling In The Deep' singer and said he wants to be back in her life following the birth of her baby boy.
The 'Someone Like You' singer has not spoken to Mark Evans since a bitter family row in 2011 and the 49 year-old has told the Daily Mirror that he has attempted to try and reconnect with his daughter.
"I've left messages on her phone, I've written to her and I've sent her birthday and Christmas cards but it's like I'm dead to her," he confessed. "I'm not interested in her celebrity or her money, I just want my daughter back and I want to be a proper grandad to the little one."
Mark added: "I'm absolutely gutted she's cut me out of her life."
The 'Rumour Has It' singer welcomed the birth of her first child with boyfriend Simon Konecki in October and her father admitted he only knew the singer was pregnant through the media.
Adele has yet to confirm the name of her child, although rumours circulated last week that the new arrival is called Angelo after the singer was spotted wearing a necklace with the name.
She also dedicated her award win at the Golden Globes this month to her child as she picked up the prize for best song with 'Skyfall'.
