The Bond actor also sends his congratulations to the 'Someone Like You' singer after birth of first child.
Daniel Craig has said he knew "immediately" that Adele's theme song for the new James Bond film Skyfall was "right".
The actor made the comments on the red carpet at the world premiere of the latest Bond movie at the Royal Albert Hall in London last night (23rd October).
Speaking to Capital FM, Craig said he had first heard the track "quite a while ago" and that he became a fan straight away.
"I head a rough track of it. I knew we had the right song immediately," he said.
Adele, who is said to have given birth to her first child last week, unveiled the theme tune for 'Skyfall' earlier this month.
Asked if he had heard reports that Adele had given birth to her first child, the James Bond actor replied: "I know, congratulations to her."

Adele's track for 'Skyfall' was recorded with producer Paul Epworth, who most famously collaborated with her on her second album '21'.
Earlier this week, producers on the new James Bond movie Skyfall denied reports that Muse's song 'Supremacy' was ever in the running for the role as theme tune of the movie.
