Adele Misses Cheryl Cole On The X Factor

'Someone Like You' singer Adele tells Geordie fans why she's missing Cheryl Cole as a judge.

On her '21' tour in Newcastle, Adele said watching The X Factor without Cheryl Cole just isn't the same.

"(I miss her) crying her tears of diamonds," she told crowds at the show.

Adele created some tears of her own in the audience as she performed a tribute to Amy Winehouse, who would have been celebrating her 28th birthday that day.

"I've never been to a gig where I've seen so many people wiping away their tears," one supporter told the Metro.

After cancelling the first few dates of her tour because of illness, Adele is now better and back on track.

Anyone with tickets for the cancelled gigs can either request a refund from the point of purchase or use the ticket for a rescheduled date.
