Adele Wins Best UK & Ireland Act At 2011 MTV EMAs
The 'Rolling In The Deep' singer has won the Best UK & Ireland Act at this year's MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs), it's been announced.
Adele will be presented with the award as voted for by Capital FM listeners at the ceremony in Belfast next month (November).
The London star beat Florence & The Machine, Coldplay, Jessie J and Kasabian to take home the prize.
Meanwhile, earlier this week it was announced that Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars will join previously confirmed performers Jessie J and Jason Derulo at the event.
Lady Gaga is tipped to dominate this year's EMAs after collecting six nominations.
The 18th annual EMAs willbe broadcast on MTV at 8pm (GMT) on 6th November.
