A source close to the star says Adele is trying to keep a low profile before the birth of her baby.
Adele is keeping a low profile ahead of the birth of her first child, according to friends.
The 'Rolling In The Deep' star's baby with fiancé Simon Konecki is expected to arrive in the coming weeks, although the singer has not confirmed the due date.
Speaking to US magazine People, a source close to the singer said Adele was "just thrilled" to be pregnant and was happy to remain out of the spotlight before the birth.
"She is totally laying low and nesting," the source added.
Adele has made very few public appearances in recent months, but was spotted watching her friends Mumford & Sons perform at the iTunes Festival in London in September.
Adele and Simon have enjoyed a whirlwind romance since they began dating last year:
Earlier this month, the star unveiled her theme tune for the forthcoming James Bond movie Skyfall.
The theme has been praised by fans and critics, and went straight to number one on the Vodafone Big Top 40 last weekend.
