The 'Set Fire To The Rain' singer has overtaken Whitney Houston to land her latest record on the Top 200 rundown.
Adele has managed to achieve yet another record on the US Billboard Top 200 chart after her second studio album '21' spent it's 21st consecutive week at the summit making her the longest running female artist to do so in the chart's history.
The 'Rolling In The Deep' singer's record achieved its biggest week of sales a year after it was released and made her the first artists to go double platinum on the US iTunes.
The album overtook the late Whitney Houston's Soundtrack to The Bodyguard which was the current holder of the achievement.
Adele is now tied with MC Hammer's 'Please Hammer Don't Hurt Em' which spent the same number of weeks at the top.
The album recently won the Album Of The Year categories at the Grammys and the BRIT Awards 2012 and Ed Sheeran confessed that he may take inspiration from the record following its amazing success.
