The former American Idol star reveals that his debut album will have a retro disco feel.
Adam Lambert has heaped the praise onto Lady Gaga for her ability to turn a retro sound into something more modern.
The 'Never Close Our Eyes' singer told the Daily Star that while his debut album 'Trespassing' is a dance record, it equally has a retro feel.
"My album is dance music, but it's a different breed of dance than the mainstream right now," he admitted. "It's not Eurodance but more retro and disco.
"We dressed it up in a modern way and made it sound current as I love when pop music references things. That's the post-modern age we're living in.
He continued: "The thing I love about Lady Gaga is she's so clever at doing that, putting it in a blender and making it her own. It takes a lot of talent to achieve that."
