The MTV VMAs 2014 Just Got SEXY As Usher AND 5SOS Are Confirmed To Perform

The pair of new acts join previously confirmed performer Ariana Grande at the event.

 The VMAs 2014 just got a whole lot HOTTER… thanks to 5SOS and Usher!

It was announced this week that R&B superstar Usher will be on hand to make his long-awaited return at the MTV Video Music Awards 2014 next month, and you can be sure the sexy stakes will be raised as soon as the 'Climax' singer hits that stage.

Usher's been steadily working on new music for his brand new eighth studio album, and just revealed his new song 'She Came to Give It to You' which features both Pharrell and Nicki Minaj. 

Meanwhile Australian four-piece 5 Seconds Of Summer will make their debut at this year's VMAs, after becoming one of the most talked about new acts of the year thanks to hits like 'She Looks So Perfect' and 'Don't Stop'. And it sounds like they're pretty excited!

"Can't wait to play the VMAs this year," 5SOS said, in a statement to announce the news. 'It's a huge honour and we always love coming over to the States, we can't wait to play on such a big stage!"

The two fresh announcement join Ariana Grande as the three confirmed artists so far for this years VMAS, and the nominations have ALSO yet to be announced. Watch this space!

Frankly, a line-up of Usher, Ariana and those lovely 5SOS boys is already sounding pretty darned good to us!

The MTV Video Music Awards 2014 takes place in Inglewood, California on Sunday 24th August.
