The Principality Junior Wales Open

Principality Building Society and The Celtic Manor Resort are both proud to be building on the legacy of Wales’ first Ryder Cup with a competition which hopes to foster future champions to follow in the footsteps of Welsh Ryder Cup heroes like Ian Woosnam, Phillip Price and Jamie Donaldson, and Solheim Cup star Becky Brewerton.

The Principality Junior Wales Open crowns champions in Under-13, Under-15 and Under-18 categories after a final played on Celtic Manor’s Twenty Ten Course, the stage for Wales’ first Ryder Cup in 2010. The tournament tees off with five regional qualifying events at renowned clubs across Wales during the Easter holidays. Qualifiers take place at Builth Wells (March 31), Vale of Llangollen (April 1), Roman Road Course, Celtic Manor (April 2), The Lake Course, Vale Resort (April 7) and Langland Bay (April 8).

  • Vale of Llangollen Golf Club - Wednesday 1st April
  • Roman Road Course, Celtic Manor Resort - Thursday 2nd April
