Chester, with it's Roman Walls, Amphitheatre, Shopping on its unique split-level Rows and famous Eastgate Clock is quite simply of the most amazing half marathon routes in the UK!

The race starts at Chester Racecourse, before making it's way through the fast and largely flat route, all on closed roads. Heading northwest out of the city, runners will rapidly settle into the race, with plenty of support and music along the way. In the second half of the race the runners return to Chester, passing by the Capital Street Stars, for an unforgettable finish outside the Town Hall and Cathedral!
Drinks stations, with bottled water, will be every 2.5 to 3 miles. There will also be chip timing with splits at 10k, halfway, 10 miles and 20k, with social media athlete tracking so friends and family can follow your progress. All finishers will receive a technical T-shirt, bespoke medal and race bag, stuffed with lots of the good stuff!
