Then She Found Me

Then She Found Me is released this weekend.

Director Holly Hunt directs herself in this touching rom com. Holly stars as April a 40 year old mum who is left heartbroken when her husband (played by Matthew Broderick) leaves her and bemused by the appearance of her long lost birth mother (played by Bett Midler.) Thank goodness for damaged divorcee Colin Firth who comes to her rescue.

The good bits : Bett Midler supplies the funniest moments in the film as the tarty long lost mother, whilst Colin Firth does his signature loveable English gent bit which we all adore.
The bad bits : It is not as funny as it could be, and we can't quite understand why Firth goes for Hunt in the first place.
