Joey Essex and Stephanie Pratt have struck up a surprising romance after both starring on a dating show together, but the couple have spoken out to claim their relationship is the real deal.

Appearing on Celebs Go Dating, Joey and Stephanie were meant to be paired up with members of the public, but instead ended up hooking up with each other… and have been dogged by rumours of it being a ‘showmance’ ever since.

Joey and Stephanie spoke to OK magazine about their newfound romance, with Joey explaining, “I know it’s genuine, she knows it’s genuine. I trust her, she trusts me. It works and it’s perfect. I don’t care what anyone says or thinks.

“It’s been a lot of pressure for us. We haven’t been able to walk down the street. We’ve been wearing massive hoodies!”

Steph added, “I’m so happy I don’t have to look for the perfect guy any more. He fell right into my hands... I think he’s the hottest guy in the world.”
