Budget London London on a shoestring
Budget London
It's credit crunch time and with prices on the rise it's sometimes nice to do something on a budget (or if you’re really lucky, for free!) so we have put together a list of great things to do out and about in London that cost hardly anything at all.
Itto
Joelle says "This little restaurant, just round the corner from my house, would be the type of place I imagine is scattered all over New York. You know, the cheap little neighbourhood Japanese restaurants where locals go for quick bowls of steaming noodles when they can't be bothered to cook anything."
The Stockpot
Andrzej from Fulham says "A small but friendly & cozy restaurant with good food, great desserts and super-warm and friendly staff. The food is always tasty - a strange mixture of Italian, British, Mexican and international dishes."
Italiano Coffee Company
This place is a regular haunt for local students. With pizza starting from £3 and as much chili oil as you could ever dream of, who cares if the staff are a little unfriendly and the seating uncomfortable.
Indian Veg Bhelpoori House
There are many all you can eat buffets in London but this little gem in Angel has traditionally homemade veggie dishes for a very tiny price. We like it lots.
Estelle's London Estelle loves London
Estelle's London
Take a sneaky peak in Estelle's wardrobe and she let's Lucio know what she misses most about London when she's away from home.
Mr. Jerk
Mr. Jerk is where you may spot Estelle for a bit of her favourite cuisine. We quite like it too!
Koh Samui
A boutique that can make you break the bank. Estelle loves the style of the clothes here.
Nando's
We think that Estelle must be a fan of chicken. When she's not in London this is one of the places she misses the most.
Brick Lane Curry Festival Fancy curry tonight?
Brick Lane Curry Festival
Brick Lane Festival is upon us again this year and we take a look at some of London's favorite places to eat a Chicken Tikka Masala and more...
Rasa
This award-winning curry house has two locations on either side of Church Street in Stoke Newington. One side is meaty and they other is purely vegetarian, which surprisingly is always busier.
Masala Zone
The Soho branch of this chain is a brilliant place for a reasonably priced Friday lunch. We recommend the thali!
Indian Flavours
A curry house that turns into a late night bar seems to have Londoners in Clapham raving about this little place. Curry and cocktails are on the menu if your planning a night out here.
Spot a Celeb Celebrity Safari
Spot Gareth Gates here
Dream Bags Jaguar Shoes in Old Street is a ubercool hang out. Yep we were wondering what Gareth Gates was going there too!
Spot Alexa Chung here
The hottie can be stopped having a regular pint in The Old Blue Last in Shoreditch. It's quite a nice pub too.
Spot Tim Burton here
Now if your lucky and you pop into The Roebuck in Belsize Park for a pint or two, you may spot the legend that is Mr. Tim Burton.
Spot Kate Nash here
This grotty little place is a local hang out for Kate when she gets back home to Harrow. If you fancy a pint with her head on down to Trinity in Harrow.
Spot Peaches Geldof here
When she's not getting married in Las Vegas you can find here in The Three Crowns pub in Stokey, having a lovely Sunday Roast.
Billie Piper takes us shopping Get in Billie Piper's knickers
Billie takes us shopping
When Billie came into the studio Johnny just couldn't help himself and wanted to get up close and personal. She let us know her top underwear shops in London.
Marks and Spencer
A popular place for the whole nation to get their undies. M&S is now not just popular for our Mums it also is a favorite of Billie's too!
La Perla
Get your fella's knickers in a twist at La Perla, it's a place to get seriously sexy. Billie loves the matching sets.
Agent Provocateur
Celebs flock here for the posh pants and more and it's easy to see why. Beautifully made underwear. Billie loves the lacey numbers.
The Duchess Discover a majestic London
The Duchess
Keira Knightley plays the Duchess of Devonshire in her new movie based on Amanda Foreman's biography of the scandalous, 18th-century English aristocrat. See some exclusive movie stills here.
Osterley Park and House
This grand mansion built in 1575 is sitting in 350 acres of parkland. It's most definitely a royal setting and has been the set of Doctor Who and The Grass is Greener starring Cary Grant. We think it's worth a visit.
Kenwood House
Notting Hill had a scene filmed here and it's not surprising, it's beautiful. Kenwood also has a lovely little cafe and a great courtyard. It does get busy on sunny days so get there early
The Greenwich Foundation For The Old Royal Naval College
The Naval College is a great place to meander around on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. It's not changed a jot in the last 300 or so years and remains as impressive today as when Wren first built it.
