Will.i.am Announces Plans To Release US President Barack Obama Victory Song

The Black Eyed Peas star reveals he recorded the new track last week and will soon be unveiling it to his fans.
Will.i.am has revealed that he's recorded a new victory song for Barack Obama after the US President beat Mitt Romney in yesterday's election.
The 'This Is Love' star took to his Twitter account this morning (7th October) to discuss the song with his fans and thanked America for keeping the President in office for the next four years.
"Thank you america...we are still on our path...," he tweeted, before adding: "In 2008 I wrote "its a new day" 1week before @BarackObama won...and last week I wrote another victory song...it will be out in 1week."
The Black Eyed Peas rapper was also in the audience as Barack made his winners speech this morning and thanked his mum for raising him well.
He wrote: "Thanks mama for raising me the way you did...from the ghetto to backstage 2012 @BarackObama re-elect."
The Presidential election saw a host of stars from the music world taking to their Twitter accounts to offer their thoughts as singers such as Rihanna, Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber all congratulated Barack Obama.
Beyonce also joined Instagram and posted her first ever post as a tribute message to the President wearing a t-shirt stating "Texans For Obama".
