The X Factor judge says her first solo album is likely to be released next summer.
Tulisa Contostavlos has confirmed she has already begun recording her first material as a solo artist.
The N-Dubz singer says work has already begun on her debut solo album and claims her first single is likely to be released in early 2012.
"[I'm] recording material at the minute," Tulisa told fans during a web chat reported on Digital Spy. "Album maybe July [or] September and a single possibly in February."
Earlier this week Tulisa's fellow The X Factor judge Gary Barlow predicted she will become a "massive star" over the next few years.
N-Dubz are currently on an extended hiatus they claim may last up to two years while each of them pursues various solo projects.
The band are due to release their first greatest hits collection on 28th November.
