Tinie Tempah has told Capital's Showbiz Reporter Kevin Hughes that new track "Mosh Pit" is the first from his forthcoming second album - and that he hopes to collaborate with Prince.
Speaking at the Nordoff Robins Silver Clef Awards, where Tinie collected the award for Best Newcomer, the "Pass Out' star revealed "the track is basically myself and US producer Rick Ross and I'm happy to announce that it's the first single from the new album."
"I'm going to perform it at the festivals this Summer and see what people think. The music is real and edgy and I have a lot I need to express."
Tinie supported Prince at the Kent Hop Farm festival. So can we expect a future collaboration? "He's amazing and he's legendary status so if I could get ever him on a record, that would be amazing. But I was a bit too starstruck when I first met him to say anything."
Tinie performs at the T in the Park Festival this weekend. So will he wear a traditional kilt on stage?" It depends, I've worn one before so if I get a proper one, I'll think about it. But I won't go Scotsman, as it'll be too windy..!"
