Before their gig in New York City the 'Lighting' singers have been recording new material in the studio.
The Wanted headed back into the recording studio this week to continue working on their highly anticipated third studio album.
The 'Glad You Came' singers flew back to America at the start of this week (11th June) to continue promoting their music stateside, and revealed they have been back recording ahead of their live show at the Beacon Theatre in New York City tonight (14th June).
"Heading to New York City! Long day ahead but excited for the gig at the Beacon Theatre. Who are we going to see there?" The Wanted tweeted earlier today, while Nathan Sykes posted yesterday: "In the studio!! Looking forward to my writing session later with @cjbaran.
"Studio today has been top!!!" 'Lightning' singer Max George also posed, before adding this morning: "NYC at dawn…what a sight!!"
The 'Chasing The Sun' singers headed back to the United States this week fresh from playing the Capital FM Summertime Ball 2012 at Wembley Stadium in from of 80,000 screaming fans.

The four-piece band are currently hard at work on the follow-up to their 2011 album 'Battleground', and released 'Chasing The Sun' as the record's lead single earlier this year.
The Wanted are due to perform their biggest this tonight with a concert at the Beacon Theatre in New York.
