The Wanted's Max George In Baby Scare After Twitter Comment

The 'Battleground' singer panicked after being told by a fan on Twitter that his fiancée was expecting their first child.

The Wanted's Max George has revealed he recently had a baby scare when a Twitter fan congratulated him on becoming a father.

The 'Warzone' singer, who is engaged to Coronation Street actress Michelle Keegan, admitted he was a bit shocked when a fan told him his fiancée was expecting a baby.

"Someone tweeted me saying, 'I am so happy Michelle is pregnant'," Max revealed to the Daily Star. "I was like, 'I don't know about this'.

"I had a little panic and rang her. She told me she was shopping in a baby shop and looking for a present for her cousin's baby. It would be quite weird if I found out through Twitter."

The 'Glad You Came' singer explained that although he wants to be a father in the future he isn't quite ready for parenthood just yet.

Max added: "I do definitely want kids, even if I'm still in The Wanted. Not just yet, but I don't want to be waiting forever to have a kid."

The Wanted recently announced a string of tour dates in the US for early 2012 ahead of their UK arena tour.
