The 'Chasing The Sun' group are also up for an award at this year's fan-voted awards ceremony.
The Wanted have revealed they are flying out to Los Angeles today ahead of their expected appearance at this year's People's Choice Awards.
The 'Glad You Came' stars have posted several tweets updating fans on their travels, as they fly over the Atlantic ahead of tomorrow's (9th January) awards ceremony, where they are up for Favourite Breakout Artist.
"Whatever happens at the PCA's tomorrow, just wanna say thanks for voting," The Wanted's Tom Parker tweeted this afternoon (8th January). "Doesn't matter if we don't win. Your endless support matters."
The band also teased Nathan Sykes after he ended up sat in-between band members Jay McGuiness and Siva Kaneswaran on the lengthy plane trip.
"Sat between @JayTheWanted and @SivaTheWanted one the plane…help me," Nathan posted, while Tom shared a picture of the three, seen below (Credit: Twitter):
The Wanted are up against the likes of Gotye, Fun., Carly Rae Jepsen and One Direction in their People's Choice Awards category, while the event is expected to feature performances from the likes of Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Alicia Keys in addition to both The Wanted and One Direction.
Band member Jay McGuiness later confirmed to fans that the 'All Time Low' five-piece will not be performing at the event, but are looking forward to being part of the show.
He tweeted: "Hey despite the chatter, we aren't performing at the People's Choice Awards Tomorrow! Just along for the ride #ScuseMeLove."
The People's Choice Awards 2013 take place on Wednesday 9th January from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.
