The 'Warzone' singers confess that it would mean "so much" to have huge success across the pond.
The Wanted have revealed that it is "very important" for them to try and break the American market.
The 'Glad You Came' stars have been in the US on their first ever tour of the country and admitted that a lot of hard work and an element of "luck" will hopefully be the keys to their success.
During an interview for celebrity gossip site Perez Hilton, Max George said: "It's very important to us. It's known as the hardest territory to break – so to do that would be phenomenal."
Jay McGuiness added: "There's an element of luck that you can't control and you just have to keep singing and be nice to people and hopefully it pays off."
Singer Tom Parker admitted that there is added emphasis on their task because of the effort they have put into the band in recent years.
"Breaking America means so much. We've put our hearts and souls into this band for the last two years," he said.
The band performed their latest gig on the ten-date jaunt in Dallas, Texas last night (31st January) and will play shows in Salt Lake City and San Diego before wrapping up the outing in Hollywood on 8th February.
The Wanted recently revealed that they would be performing on the Chelsea Lately talk show on the same day as their final show.
