The band's comeback single will be played for the first time on Capital this Monday 23rd July.
The Script have collaborated with Will.i.am for their new single 'Hall Of Fame'.
The band's frontman Danny O'Donoghue is a coach on The Voice UK alongside the Black Eyed Peas star and revealed the pair spoke about the track early on in the music reality series.
"I played Will a few demos backstage early on in The Voice," he confessed to The Sun. "We got to Hall Of Fame and he immediately asked if he could have it for his new album, as it was exactly what he was looking for.
"I wasn't having it, it was our lead single but I asked if he'd be on it. He agreed and we booked in time to record it."
The track will be played for the first time on Capital on Monday 23rd July and Danny added that the song was finished in Will's hotel room.
"The problem is, he's either late or completely flakes, so it took four attempts to get him to record his part," he admitted. "Eventually we put it together in his hotel room in 15 minutes."
Speaking about the sound of the track, he added it's "classic" and hopes to get the chance to perform it will Will live.

Will.i.am is also expected to release his new studio album '#willpower' later this year.
