The Saturdays' Mollie King Splits From Model Boyfriend David Gandy

The 'Notorious' singer's model boyfriend has confirmed the couple are no longer together.

The Saturdays star Mollie King and model David Gandy have ended their relationship after ten months together.

The couple began dating back in April 2011 but the Dolce & Gabbana model has now confirmed they separated amicably last week after struggling to balance their busy careers. 

"Unfortunately Mollie and me aren't together any more," David told The Mirror this week. "It's a very new thing and it's very sad. 

"It was a mutual decision, one of the reasons being is because we don't get to see each other as much as we would have liked to."

David insists the two are still close and will remain friends despite the break-up. 

"The timing just wasn't right and it's really sad for the both of us," David explained. "We are still great friends and we're still talking all of the time. 

David admitted the couple's relationship might have gone differently if they had met "further down the line", when they were less busy with their respective careers.

He added: I would never rule out getting back together in the future when things may have settled down in our careers.”

The Saturdays are currently working on their fourth studio album and Mollie has been tweeting that she is enjoying spending time with her family at home.
